From the four corners of the world, artisans of non-violence, reconciliation and peace are meeting in the African city of Juba, South Sudan. On Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November 2022, the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR) -a spiritual based peace movement founded in 1914- will host a public Conference at the All Saints Cathedral Compound located in the heart of downtown Juba. The Conference is open to the general public; women, men and young people from diverse backgrounds and cultures will reflect and share on the theme: “Armed Conflict and Peaceful Transition in Africa: Lessons from South Sudan and around the world”. On the 11th it is planned a plenary session starting at 15:00 (GMT+2). On the 12th there will be several thematic sessions starting at 9:30 till 17:30, (GMT+2).
The Conference will be in English, with translations in French and Spanish.
